en Gastroentrology Gastroentrology Review Article Review Article <span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Times New Roman;"><span style="color:#0033ff;"><em><b><span style="font-weight:bold">Background</span></b>:</em></span>Exploring the expression of TRIM41 in colon cancer and its clinical significance.<br> <em><span style="color:#0033ff;"><b><span style="font-weight:bold">Methods</span></b>:</span></em>Immunohistochemistry EVision method was used to detect the expression of TRIM41 protein in 115 colon cancers and normal tissues adjacent to the cancers, and to analyze its relationship with clinicopathological characteristics of colon cancer; GSEA software was applied to To analyze the related signaling pathway of TRIM41 and immune cell infiltration analysis.<br> <em><span style="color:#0033ff;"><b><span style="font-weight:bold">Results</span></b>:</span></em>TCGA database showed that TRIM41 was highly expressed in colon cancer (P < 0.001). Survival analysis showed that the overall survival of colon cancer patients with low expression of TRIM41 was significantly higher than that of patients with high expression, and high expression of TRIM41 was associated with poor prognosis of colon cancer patients.X2 test showed that the expression level of TRIM41 was correlated with the degree of tumor differentiation (P=0.002) and the grade of tumor outgrowth (P=0.009) in colon cancer patients.GESA analysis showed that TRIM41 high expression was significantly enriched in signaling pathways such as DNA replication, Fanconi anemia pathway and steroid synthesis.
